After the success of JoAnna's first Stradivari recital last season, she will return to the stage of WMP Hall to perform a full Friday evening recital on another beautiful Stradivari instrument this fall. The concert will feature sonatas by Mozart and Franck, as well as several violin and viola duets (including the famous Handel-Halvorsen Passacaglia!)

More information on the program will be available closer to the concert date, and JoAnna hopes that you can attend what promises to be an interesting concert on a truly magnificent instrument.

For her debut recital at Yamaha this season, JoAnna will perform a variety of works by Faure, Brahms and the lesser-known Hungarian romantic composer Leo Weiner. JoAnna will also be joined by colleagues Janice LaMarre (viola) and Stephen Fang (cello) for Leo Weiner's beautiful string trio, Op. 6.

JoAnna Farrer will perform as soloist with several orchestras in Poland -- the Filharmonia Pomorska and the Koszalin Philharmonic -- during the month of February, 2010! Repertoire will include the virtuosically gypsy 'Tzigane' by Ravel, and Mozart's beautiful Concerto for Violin and Orchestra No. 3 in G Major, K. 216.
